Hello everyone,

Should I mention please all of my travels outside my home country even if less than 6 months or on an older passport?
What are consequences if I omit a travel..? (considering the difficulty of getting a criminal clearance certificate from that country or so..)

Many thanks

You have to mention all your past travels even if they are below 6 months. 6 months requirement is for PCCs only not travel history. In case of being caught by IRCC while misrepresenting information, one can get banned from applying for expess entry/immigration again.

Thanks for your reply. In fact I have a total period of nine months in an Asian country where I was a job seeker (and a tourist too sometimes).. I did not however exceed 6 months in a row (visa run so basically 3 periods of 3 months...). I'm confused now how can I present and justify all that especially if this could be a burden on my application.. (reason of this prolonged travel, source of income, possibility of an illegal job over there...etc).
I would appreciate hearing your opinion.

Many thanks,

Honestly I am not sure. I will let others have the stage who perhaps have gone through such a scenario.

Mention ALL your travels.. no exceptions. You will not need a PCC for a country you stayed in for less than 6 months in a row..

Thanks Prasad. Should I mention the total period spent outside of my country as a whole (9 months) or provide a breakdown including all side travels within this period from the foreign country of stay to nearby ones (total of two)?? Many thanks

Detail it as true as possible, the application will ask for the PCC if needed. If they consider you need it, they will ask an ADR

Every single individual transit.

From my experience, they will not ask for the PCC of a country if one hasn't stayed there for 6 months in a row, even if the total stay over time is longer

It is better to state every single travel outside your home country. Even if you stay longer than 6 months. A good explanation for the reason will be better. I understand, you might have overstayed in some country. Just look for a convincing reason. The PCC is not going to show or details your stay in any country. It is only to determine if you have criminal records in those countries you have visited or stayed.
