Dear
I have few questions for my TRV, please anybody can help me
profile : I work in Dubai (citizen of india) , planning to visit Toronto as tourist and have friends there (No family/relative)

1) for Travel history I do not have stamp of entry in Dubai (but valid work visa) as Dubai airport allows to entry via E-gate using emirates ID card. How can I proof my entry in Dubai from india ( last vacation)

2) travel to other countries- I mentioned yes but not sure deos it mean other countries other than my home country(india) and country of work/residence (Dubai). I have only travelled between Dubai and India in past 10 years. should my answer be yes or no

Travel history is checked as the visa officers needs to see if an applicant is capable to travel and did not overstay in the country they went to.
Being a tourist means you visited a country for a couple of days or a couple of months temporarily. Thus, it is different from working. You will attach your working/resident visa in the Travel History. But on the form you cannot declare that you've been in and out of Dubai as it is now your country of residence because you work there.
You can only declare countries other than your current country of residence and your home country.
Example:
I am from India and I work in Dubai. I visited USA and Singapore. Since I am applying a visa in Dubai, I can only declare USA and Singapore.

Hello - I have the same issue - my country of origin is the Philippines, and worked in Dubai for 5 yrs, and now working here in Canada. I only declared the travels outside of PH, UAE, and Canada. Did you do the same? Did you get your PR now?
