Hi Folks,
I just would like to open this thread to report my case and help other people who is looking for the same information.
As my PR card wasn't ready on time, I had to request a Travel Document for Permanent Resident after travelling to Brazil and the process was very simple and ready in only 5 business days. They say it could take from 3 to 23 business days but I believe they analyze the process according to your flight ticket.
I went to the VAC office in Sao Paulo, filled out the Travel Document request form and included the following documents in my process:
1 - Confirmation of Permanent Residence paper
2 - as a support document I added a letter from the company that I'm currently working just to show ties.
3 - my SIN number
4 - my Income Tax assessment.
5 - my flight ticket with the date that I would return to Canada.
That's it, I paid the fees and after 5 days my passport was delivered.
I hope it helps those who are looking for that information.
