I got my pr card in 2007 .. I was unable to fulfill the residency obligation (8months short) .. Due to many reasons .. My dad passed away while we were in Canada .. We came back for the last rites.. My mom went under depression and didn't want to return back to Canada (still doesn't ) , my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's . So I stayed back to look after them . It has been 3 years since I was last in Canada . I applied for a travel document now but I was denied . Apparently these h/c reasons weren't enough . So what do I do next? I want to go back for my post graduate studies . What's the quickest and most effective approach ? Thanks!
