Travel Document - Delhi processing time

Does anyone know the current Travel Document processing time in Delhi consulate?

Application for TD received at Delhi on October 9th and my spouse is to travel back on November 2nd. Looks like we will need to reschedule. We provided all the supporting documents including return ticket.
Call center told us that they cannot tell the current processing time or anything with respect to our application which as you can imagine drove us mad.
We are planning to reschedule it to November 18th, however we are not sure if we ever get anything back by then.
Just to add we became residents on August 20th 2013.

TD process is not easy to get through and becoz of this people usually prefer to stay 4-6 months in Canada and pick up their PR card rather than taking risk of going back without it. Embassies are discouraging people who return back to home country immediately after landing. However, if you have submitted a genuine reason for not waiting for PR card then you might get it sooner, normally it takes 1-6 months to get TD (if your case has no residency obligation problem).

Travel Document received in 26 days. Would have been faster if shipping didn't take 5 days. Thought might help others in the future.
