Do you guys think IRCC will give some update soon on the travel ban and exemption for international students to travel since Canada has practically bent its covid curve?

I hope they allow all of us with approval to travel by December end this year.
But what is concerning is that they've actually not stood by their own promise of exempting students with approval before March 18th from the travel ban.
Now even with a full approval & visa issued before March 18th, we are not allowed to travel as our online classes are " non-essential " it seems. Such a lame excuse to go back on their own word, renege on their promise & prevent students from entering.
