TRAVEL BACK HOME ON WORK PERMIT EXPIRE IN 6 MONTH

Hello,

I am thinking to visit back home in August 1st for three weeks. My Post Graduate Work Permit will expire by Jan 01 2019. I have already applied for PR this month and my application is in progress. I have heard that it will take 5 month to get approval. Can I travel in short permit?

My friends are saying if you leave Canada you can't come back. Please guide I am going to attend my brother's wedding ceremony.

Hi

Ignore your friends. Provided you have a valid TRV, you can return to Canada without issue.

I did this before, once you have visa to enter Canada there will be no problems
