Hello Guys,

I have a situation with travel after my planned landing, and am looking for your guidance. I would truly appreciate any insights you can offer.

My COPR is valid through August 03, 2014. I am currently in the US on an H1B. I want to complete my landing around 2-3 week of July, and then return to the US to complete the project I am working on, prior to moving to Canada for good. My understanding is that CIC will mail my PR card to the address I provide (which, I will be providing my brothers address) in 4-6 weeks. Here are my questions -

1) Does it in fact take CIC 4-6 weeks to mail the PR Card? Is there a provision for expedited processing?

2) I can spend at most a week after initial landing. Assuming I land on July 14, I will be back on July 20. If I have not received my PR card until
then (likely I wont), then what are my options to re-enter Canada when CIC mails the PR card to my Canadian address?
- A) have my PR card mailed out to my US address?? (I am not sure if this is permissible, and even if it is, its scary)
- B) apply for a temporary travel document PRTD A31(3) - is this an option? If so, do I apply for this in the US, or Canada?
- C) supporting documentation - like my COPR, passport showing visa stamp, and any documents received from landing?

3) My COPR shows destination city/province as Toronto, ON - like I indicated on my application. Is it okay for me to land in Calgary? Note, I got my
PR through FSW - so am under the impression that I am not bound to a specific province. Also, I am landing in Calgary as my brother stays
there, so settling in should be easier

4) Is it okay to provide my brothers address? I will be getting my own place shortly - this is an interim arrangement

5) Also, would you mind taking a look at the list of documents I think I will need to carry and let me know if this is complete -

1. Passport with Visa
2. COPR
3. Proof of Funds - Bank Draft/Cashiers Cheque
4. Passport size photos - 3 passport size
5. PR Card Application (IMM 5444E) (I have listed July 14, 2014 as the landing date or the date of becoming a PR)
6. Goods accompanying, and to follow List (Form B4E)

Also, just found this for item #2 -C) in my list above,

- will I get a "confirmation of landing" when I arrive ? If so, can I use that to re-enter Canada by road on a personal or rental vehicle?
