Hello all,

Do u think there's a universal transportation pass for grad students? I mean a pass that works with all public transportation: TTC, street cars, buses, etc...

Thanks

Hi Mhindawy. Yes, there is. In Calgary, where I got accepted in UofCalgary for the Fall 2013 Term, they call it UPASS. It is included in the general fee schedule amounting to $117. This will earn you ride-all-you-can access to any public transport within Calgary for one term, even on non-school days. I think USask and UOttawa also offer UPASS. Check out the website of your university to find out if this is offered in your area.

Hey, there is one for Toronto ( TTC) as u know it called the Monthly metro pass. There isnt one yet that u can use all across Canada.

TTC bus pass can be used in TTC bus , street car, subway and LRT.
It will cost you $106 per month , if you're a student in college.
Otherwise you have to use adult pass- $126 per month.

If you need a pass for travelling in York transit, Brampton transit, Mississauga way and TTC.
Then you need GTA Weekly pass - $52or$56 per week.

Good Luck.
