Can anyone recommend a translator in the Toronto area (preferably downtown)? The translation of my birth certificate is one of the last few things that I need prepared before I mail my application out at the end of August.

So far, Abco Translations keeps popping up, but I've heard from a friend they're relatively expensive.

They usually charge depending on how much writing their is. I translated my marriage certificate (which really didnt have a lot of writing) and it came out to about 80 dollars

they did a really good job though and also certified.

If you use a certified translator from the ATIO, you do not need to get the translator's affidavit.
