Hi everybody ,
I hope all is well. I need your advise on something regarding the translations. I translated my documents by locally certified and legal translators. What I mean by 'locally certified' is that they are approved by their own governments. I did a translation in the UAE and one in Egypt.
1-Does the translation office has to be approved by the Canadian embassy/government ? or just a local certified translator ?
2-Who can make certified copies of originals ? When i translated my documents, all the translators attached a copy of the original document to the translation and stamped both documents. Is that 'copy of the original ' provided by the translator is what they need ??
Below are some facts I found on CIC, but I am not sure now what to do. Should I do the translation with a translator in Canada ?
-On the official CIC glossary (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/glossary.asp#certified_photocopy) :
Certified Copy: To have a copy certified, an authorized person must compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:
Looking forward to your reply
