Translation of property documents

Hi friends,

I am planning to submit my and my parents property documents to make my case sound. Do i need to translate the "Registry" document into English. If so, does any body know the procedure to translate a "Registry"? please guide...

where you live? if you are from India, then there are many notrized centers ,you can check with them, I belive they might have many formats and experts !!! all the best.

As far as i know u should submit a property report made by chArtered accountant....so go to nearest chartered accountant and tell him to prepare a property valuation report on letter head, stamp it and sign it and tell him to staple the business card of him on the top of the document or at the back....that's what I did...

I translated it into english. If you want to attach the registry then you must translate it into english because as per checklist documents can only be in English or French.

In my case, there were translators available in Kachehri who translated it and Notary public then notarized it for me.

I would be providing documents of more than one assets. Should i briefly write them on a single page so that VO can easily have an overall view of my assets? Should this page be an affidevit or i can compose details on simple ordinary page?

It doesn't matter if you want to attach more than one assets' registry paper, you can attach all of em. However, you can use property evaluation as a cover page for this registries. As in my property valuation, there was a table giving the detail of assets with it current market value and with it I attached all these registry papers which was the evidence that the assets in property valuation are true.

I did it from a Govt register dealer. One can't evaluate by oneself.

Sorry, I don't know the procedure myself as that guy was a family friend and he did all the stuff.

You should meet any CA firm, register dealer and they will tell you the procedure. You will require CNIC of the person on whose name the property is. And you would need the registry papers of that property.

Shouldn't cost you more thank 2000 PKR. It is just a simple paper with latter head giving cost estimates ideally it should cost you 100 PKR but they will demand in thousands.
