Hello ,

I just something strange in transit visa application to Canada , the first time i applied for my friend before a year ago he just get refusal letter after 14 days without asking him to provide his bio metric details .

now i applied before a week a ago and i got bio metric instruction letter !

what is the logic here please ?

Any of the following cases
1. Did you applied first time during COVID? as during covid majority of the countries refused transiting through them
2. at the time of first application your biometric was valid due to old application, and at the second application time the biometric was expired.
3. you choose to provide NEW biometrics when you subimtted the application

Hello , thanks for your respond but Neither of these cases you mentioned applied !

This first application was for my friend year ago , no biometric was asked to given and he was refused.

The second application is now for me personally, biometric was asked to given.

If Biometric is not asked, he maybe:
He must have old biometric in the system.
He is less than 18 age.
he have another issue

what was the refusal reason?

No biometric was collected before
he is 48 years old
this is the question , what was the issue ?!

refusal letter : -

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary
resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be
accompanied by a new processing fee

1. apply for GCMS notes and you will know the exact notes from the officer.
2. there is no way that IRCC forget or bypass biometric, there must be some major issue with the application. Perhaps, the system match the ID with someone else and link someone else biometric with your application.

Biometric request really means nothing. It is basic information required to process the application but does not guarantee approval.

Yes i am aware of that sir , but the problem is why they ask from one and not asking the other one , thats was the question
