Hi,

I'm an Indian citizen, who recently became a Canadian Permanent Resident. I'm currently in Dublin, Ireland and going home to Delhi for a few months, before permanently moving to Canada.

Most of the affordable flights from Ireland to India are via London (Heathrow). I've heard that there's a relaxation on transit visa for Canadian PRs. Could anyone tell me if I can transit via the UK, since I am a Canadian Permanent Resident. Just to clarify, I don't have my PR card, but I have all my landing documents, like CoPR?

Many thanks,

You need either your PR card or a Travel Document to fly to Canada. It doesn't matter where you are transitting through. You need one of these documents in order for the airline to allow you to board the airplane. The COPR will not be accpeted.
