Transferred to Detroit, waiting of PPR...

Hello Everyone,
What happens if a person has changed the job and also left country where application was done?(if medicals are already done)
Do we need to inform consulate of change of address(eventhough we have alternate address in application country)? Do we need to provide them job letter from new country?

What class immigration are you filing?

PNP? - if so, your application might be rejected.....your are given a PR based on ur employemnt in the province, no the experience!
CEC class? - it should be OK recieveing ur PR, but its upto you if u want to change the address or not...as long as u r comfortable with the mailing address u currently have and if someone ill take care of the mails....i would keep it like that.

By the wya, ur question is not very clear ...
1. did u levae canada while workig here and moved to other country for employement?
or
2. u r from a home country applying for PNP skilled job?

1) Yes,applying in PNP. I was working in US and then went out to home country and joined company iin home country.
Concern is what happens if H1b visa expires and then you leave US and then start working in other country with same category of job.

If we have CSQ and applied under Quebec, does Detroit still ask for employement letter an tax information? why do they need them?

Hello alainski,

No need to worry much. This happened to me too. From my experience, I would say you are almost there. As soon as you send these documents, they will take maybe a week or two to send the PPR. They just verify the docs. I guess the time taken is only because your file goes at the back of the line and take some time for them to review again with the new documents. You are nearly there.

I sent on Oct 5, arrived there on Oct 11
Ecas showed start processing on Oct 12
And PPQ on Oct 25

So u can use mine to find your PPQ date
