Transfer of Funds for Express Class Entry

I am receiving the minimum required funds from my father, Does it requires me to transfer them prior applying for Express Class Entry? or should i wait once i am asked for proof of funds because it requires me a gift deed signed by my father while i have provide six months of bank history as well. If you could please explain the whole process.

if you can transfer them now just do it. by the time you get ITA and submit your application 6 months would've passed and there would be no need to get a gift deed

I can transfer the funds right now to my account. Should i make a gift deed in case i am asked to summit source of funds just to keep myself on the safe side.
