Transcripts to be sent to WES

Hi All,

I have to complete my ECA from WES.
Transcript for my Post Graduation is already available with me. However, I read that it should be enclosed in an University stamped envelope.

Transcript available with me is Original and is signed and stamped by University but there is no envelope available.

Can someone please guide me what shall I do in this situation?

apply again, or ask them to put it in a sealed envelope, stamp and cross sign it and ask them to post it to WES.
if the envelope is opened or damaged, they will not accept it.

I've requested my University to issue the transcript. They'll be sending to my address.

yes its fine. but make sure you dont tamper with the envelope in any way... the seal has to be intact.

Attention, officially they do require that the envelope to be sent directly to WES. That means, that the envelope itself must be sealed and must not contain your address on envelope.
None of the shipping documents to WES can contain your adress eiteher (only your school and WES). There shall be never on the delivery slip nor on the customs declaration your name or signature.
The envelope shall be posted from the country of your school.
Otherwise it will be evaluated as not genuine,

Documents you need to send to WES Canada:
1. Sealed Transcripts (for all Post Secondary Education).
2. Photo copy of the Degree Certificates and mark sheets for all Post secondary Education.
3. Passport Copy (1st Page & Last page for Identification)
4. Reference No (Page) - Print out after the payment. (On the Right side of your Reference Number you will get a Link with ‘PRINT APPLICATION ICON’ When you select the link you will you will get a reference page in the NEW Tab, the content in New tab need to be copied and saved into an MS-WORD document to get a print out).
5. Place all the above documents in big A3 size envelope and pack tightly
6. Paste To and From address on the envelop and courier to the below address
7. WES reference number to be mentioned on all the documents and envelopes.

Note: You need to write Reference No on all the documents.
Do not open the sealed envelope if it is given to you closed/pasted.
Do not send any original documents to WES.

If your school did not issue those documents in French or English, you also need to have them translated (exept of your passport).

If in the mean time, you have changed your name, you shall also put the proof ot that change (for example marriage certifitate or some certificate, where you legaly asked for name change).

Practicaly:
You shall send all above stated documents (translated by official translator where needed)

Your school shall send copies of your diplomas and the record of all courses taken. If they are the same as your copy, they do not need to be translated. If they are not they shall be translated as well.

Do I need to send original Transcripts. If no, then is it required to attest the photocopy of the transcripts as Originals (of the photocopy) already contain a stamp and signature of the authority?

Copies are all ok. It is not even required to be attested photocopies, because your school will send out the same thing, so all they need is to compare.
But it will not hurt to make attestied photocopies and then let them translate if needed.

Why don't you let them send it directly with the form to WES?

That would be the ideal option, but not all schools in all countries are happy to bear the costs with sending anything especially abroad.

Hi. Plz clarify.
1. Transcript to be sent in original or photo copies?
2. The degrees we have, that to be attested and sealed in an envelope from The University and the transcript we have taken from the college. So is it possible that we take that sealed transcript to the university and pack that with the other attested degrees in University's envelope, which has to be sealed and stamped by University, then send it to WES by our own?
3. Or we can take 2 sealed and stamped envelope, one containing transcript from college and another one containing attested photo copies of degrees by University, then pack both sealed envelope to a new envelope and send to WES by our own?
