Hi ya'll,
I am a Greek national who studied in Moscow, Russia a while ago. I called the Univeristy requesting them to send the certified translated grade sheets directly to the Canadian Immigration Office... They laughed in my face, telling me that there's no way they can do what I'd requested... Furthermore, the only way to get a copy of the transcript (actually they call it "Duplikat") is if i were to show up in person and report the original diploma lost or stolen... What should I do, would the "written statement" of the above with attached certified translations of my School transcripts suffice for the immigration officer??? Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Can they send your trancripts to where you are staying now....?
Instead of sending to the Canadian Immigration Office...

it might take you long efforts to get your transcripts from Rassia. Ask them if the could send a photocopy with the university stamp on a sealed envelop and that envelope to be also sealed and stamped at the opening by them.

I know but iam not sure you will need to translate your transcrips in english if they are in either russia language.

I have a friend who had difficulty getting her transcript from their and she had to make a lot of efforts and communications via emails but didnt help either.

I ope all goes well.

good luck.

Thanks for your replies!
Unfortunately, they told me that it's not possible... Period. They don't issue copies or mail them to anyone... Dunno what to do. I guess I got no other choice but to send them certified copies and a written statement... Anyone had done the same?
