Transcripts for ECA

Hello,

I have few doubts regarding my transcripts. I have 2 transcripts. 1 is for Bachelor degree which I have received from my college in a sealed envelop & 2 for Postgraduate Diploma which also I have received from the college in a sealed envelop.

After making the payment for ECA, I got an instructions page where it was mentioned "WES does not accept mark sheets that have been issued and/or attested by the college you attended unless from an autonomous or constituent college" I checked the list and I found Mumbai University to which my college is affiliated. But I am not sure if I should look for my specific college name.

Additionally they have also asked for Final or Provisional Degree Certificate. Is this something apart from my transcript?

Regarding my Postgraduate Certificate, they have asked An official document issued by appropriate State Board of Technical Education. So will the transcript given by the college in a sealed envelop work or I need to go to the university of that state.

My wife studied in Mumbai university and she had sent college issued transcripts which they rejected after telling they would accept. They then accepted university attested marksheets.

You have to get the transcripts signed and stamped by the university in a sealed envelope. College generated transcripts are not valid for ECA. Degree certificate is separate from your transcript which you would have received separately post completion of your degree. Certificates are generally issued by universities.
My suggestion is reach out to your university and tell them you need transcripts for Canada PR, they will tell you the process of obtaining them. You can also mention the name of the university here and you might get help from this forum

Yes, you have to do it for your graduation and post graduation. Better to speak with both universities and understand how much time they are going to take. If you are unable to connect with them over phone/email, try visiting universities. If you can't visit then use services of companies like 'mailtranscripts.com'.

Can you please tell me which transcript to get? Consolidated Mark Statement or Individual mark sheet?
