I was nominated by MB.

The AOR email comes from CIO-Sydney. But the email says 'your application will be forwarded to a new visa office'. I put CPP-Ottawa on my application. So most likely, the VO is gonna be CPP-Ottawa. By the way, I am already in Canada.

Your AOR is on its way. Best luck to all of us.

Hi Guys,

Just would like to share some updates on my application.. Application Submitted to CIO Sept 12 and CIO Received it on Sept 17. This morning my CC has been charged with the Processing Fee. Appreciate guys if you can enlighten me with some questions running on my head right now.

- Am I right to assumed that constitutes a complete document filing based on CIO requirements and I should expect AOR soon?
- If so, what is the current lead time before CIO sends the AOR after the CC/Bank Draft has been encashed?
- In the AOR which is sent via Email, does it mention which VO (The VO that we have indicated in the Generic Form) our apps will be lodged? Because in my case though I am currently based in Singapore, I have nominated Canadian Embassy Manila, Philippines. Was there any case that the VISA office is different from what we have nominated?

Apologies for the lenghtly post but would greatly appreciate for your kind replies. Thanks guys and have a nice weekend ahead!

Not in the 1st AOR. You will receive 2nd AOR with additional documents request (eg. medical exam) from your VO.
I put "CPP-Ottawa" in my application but medical exam request forms came from Sydney, NS.
I am in PNP category and am an in-Canada applicant so my case may not go to yours.
Hope someone helps you more!

Hello, jbtoki. We have almost the same time line. Just curious, did you have something in your FIRST AOR email saying 'your application will be forwarded to a new visa office' which is in bond font. Thanks. Best luck to you.

Hi, Yes, but mine says, "a visa office for further processing." Does not have "new" in the sentence.
Hope you get 2nd AOR and MR soon! :)

Thanks. I looked at my first AOR email again, and it does say 'a visa office' without 'new'. So I guess everybody get that in their first AOR email. Sorry about that. Thanks again.

Hey guys,

How long does it take for medical request to come after AOR? Also does MR come in email or postal mail? And what is usually max time period allowed to respond to MR? I am gone on vacation for next 2 months and wondering what happens if MR comes in the postal mail during this time? Appreciate your response.

It will come via e-mail. You should get the exam done within 60 days of MR notice to avoid any delays.
Hope this helps.
