Congrats...hope cic will send ppr for april applicants too. ;Dirishlydia said:I have good news.... I contacted my MP again today in frustration to ask if she could find out the status of my application. She said our PR has been approved since July 31st and documents will be sent out in a few weeks. Our ecas does not state decision made yet. Also because we are from Ireland (which is a visa exempt country) we do not have to send our passports. I know i don't have documents in hand yet but it is good news thank god!! My advice to all March applicants is to contact your local MP and he/she will follow up on your application on your behalf!
Best of luck... it is a patient waiting game!!Rony84 said:Congrats...hope cic will send ppr for april applicants too. ;D
That is good news Lydia, congrats! Hopefully you will receive correspondence from CIC soon, please let us know when you do. I have the same timeline as you and being Australian am from a visa exempt country as well. I contacted my MP back in April and all he could do was give me the same status I can get online via ecase. I might try another MP in a different area and see if they can delve into my case further. Best of luck and keep us posted!irishlydia said:I have good news.... Thanks I will def let you know! Ecas hasnt changed yet anyway! Ya this MP definitely contacted them by phone I think. I have emailed her 3 times about the status of my application and she came back to me with status updates within the same day each time. I did write a long letter to her at the start explaining my frustration with the system and maybe thats why she has been extra helpful. All I can say is I contacted a few different MP's in the general area and got a black eye from the nearest MP saying she had heard from CIC that there were a few enquiries made on my behalf and CIC gave her the MP names! So she told me you have to stick to your nearest MP! I dont really think it makes any difference though once you stick to one! At the time I didnt know if any of them would help me! Best of luck let me know how you get onJosie281 said:That is good news Lydia, congrats! Hopefully you will receive correspondence from CIC soon, please let us know when you do. What is the due date on your notes??stillwaiting123 said:Congrats Lydia
I just received my GCMS today and they have done nothing with the file since April 29th 2013. The last thing I see is "RPRF Paid File appears ready for officer review" on 29th April.
Also, I noticed the report was generated on July 17th but was emailed to me today almost a month later.

What's your timeline? Also, what do your GCMS notes say under "criminality", "eligibility" and "security"?
