Tracking PNP/QSW March 2012 applications to Nova Scotia

I received an email directly from NY consulate telling me my file had been transferred for processing and they were asking for an update on personal history and to pay RPRF. FBI are only valid for a year so if it's been over a year then I would order new ones to save some time. I asked them to extend my medicals and they did for one year. I assume if you are in the US they are forwarding to NY consulate. I live in Texas. ECAS updated to in process after I received the email from them but didn't show any details. It still shows as in process even though they asked me to submit passports.

Got my CGMS notes today, so disappointed:
The only update is passing eligibility, criminality still in progress from May 2012 and the due date (May 2013) is already passed. No update at all on security. Meds are expired and out of 2 requests only one med is extended yet. RCMP screening is expired and resent. And that's all. don't know if I can stay hopeful anymore. #$%^&*

I don't think you should rely on the security section in the GCMS notes as they really keep it to themselves. do your e-cas show in process yet?

I see two addresses on my E-cas( mailing and home address, although they are both the same). Whats up with the two address display?!? Any ideas?! Anyone?!

Probably. I arranged a trip early August. I asked them if i will receive my passport request before my trip. They said I dont need to worry about the passport request, it wont be issued before early August...

I am sorry to hear that, vova0522. I hope they do approve it in August though. Does the response also mean that those applications received in early March will be processed in July?

I sent out a request because i have a trip arrangement in august. I'm going back to my country in early August and I dont wanna miss the passport request. And they told me I dont need to worry about that. PPR won't be issued by then

Is it a template or they actually say it won't be approved until August? Can you please paste the email?

As far as I know, still the same. The Treasury Board hasn't come back to the table for negotiations. Seems no PR applications are being processed nowdays.

I asked my MP to look into my application. She came back to me within a few hours. She said the background checks were being finalised and I should hear something in around 2 weeks! So the waiting continues....

since no update till march 17..was asked to pay rprf and personal history...
file under processing since april4th 2013...
i have already booked my tickets to india for my weeding but this cic people....dont know what to do...spoke with local mp he told me ill get update from cic by august 2013 and my tickets are booked for september 2013... i dont what to do...so confused....please any body guide me...

My situation is same as you. Bcoz of this, I cant book my wedding!!!!!!!!

hey i have one confusion...if ill get my passport call before september and if i get my passport back by the time do u think i can go india and cross the border....one more thing if ill get married over thr do u think it will be a problem for when ill return without pr card...

My status changed to decision made on Thursday but passports have not been returned yet. They've had them for 3 weeks now. Wondering how much longer to get them back?
