Hey cecilia1118,
I really need ur help regarding redoing my medical..i m living outside canada and my medical will expire nxt month...so do u think i should redo the medical before cic is asking me to do so or i just wait until they snd my husband any letter to redo medical as i m his dependent..and can u snd me the format of personal history so that i can have some idea...
Thanks in advance.

Hi Rony84, If I were you, I wouldn't redo the medical exam without the request from CIC. I see some April applicants receiving some updates now.
For the personal history, I just wrote something like this:

From to Activity City,Country
2012.0X 2012.0X ***** ***,*****

Hope this helps.

CIC has extended the medical expiration for another year for a dozen of cases I know. So, I won't recommend you do it before they ask again (and most likely they won't)

@cecilia1118 and nahid6413,
Thanx a lot for both of ur reply...

I will not redo it unless cic is askink for redoing medical.

Hi rony84,

Just like me we received an email about redo the medical
but just for our kids, coz they are still in the Philippines.
And getting a medical without a request from cic,
It won't work coz you need a FORM that is attached
To the request letter.

Hi all,

We have sent an email to Ottawa last Friday to check our application status and ask for the cause of delay in making the final decision; they replied today with an important point about medical results and a time table. According to the email they will be requesting an extension of the validity of our results, so no redoing it for now.
Also according to that email, any PNP application received between 1 March 2012 and 31 May 2012 will be reviewed "on or before 31 August 2013" and by "31 August 2013" we can expect to receive the next update from CPP-O.
They said the priority in reviewing applications is now given to applications CIC received before 28 Feb 2012, so it'll take like 3 more months for us to hear something from them. Long, late, but still better than nothing

Just wanted to share this info with you guys, hope that helps :)

Does CIC review applications on a nationality basis? 'cause I'd rather not disclose mine unless it is a critical matter :)

The Buffalo backlog processing deadline is this Friday. So hopefully we'll see more PPRs coming in June; keep the faith

Your timeline is more or less identical to mine.
My timeline is as follows:
We received your application for permanent residence on March 16,2012
We started processing your application on April 22, 2013
Medical results have been received (May 2012)

They asked for RPRF payment and updated details of personal history since (March 16th 2012) on April 9th 2013 and then on April 22nd the status changed to In Process!
By any chance are you a Buffalo transfer and have you got a dependant with your application?
