After paying my RFPR on April 9th my ecas has also changed to "We have starting processing your application on April 22, 2013) One step closer!!

I check my ecas everyday but think it changed Wednesday!

This is random. For my case it is always changing on Saturday.

Updates

My CIC online status changed to IN Progress when I checked today.
Seems they are processing March applicants now.

Yippee!! They are finally working on our applications! Hopefully we will get passport requests soon! Keep me updated!

Hey Guys,

I have read in a few other forums that if you are from a visa exempt country (I'm from Australia) you do not have to send your original passport just a copy of it. Does anyone know if this is true? Or is this the new system and becasue we applied over a year ago we follow the old system?

Hi Josie!

Ya my friends from Ireland recently got their passport requests and they only required copies because apparently Ireland is also a visa exempt country. I am going to wait for the request before sending anything as I dont want them to get confused!
