My credit card was charged today for the application fee by CIC. Just got confirmation from the CC company.

Hi lahorimunda,

That's good to hear from you. Hey, I can see from your profile that, your application was received at CIO on July 18...but I am just curious to know why it got delayed so long? It's more than 4 months.

By the way, looks like you are a Mechanical Engineer by the NOC code...me too my friend.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Yes its very good to hear and yes I am Mechanical Engineer. Good to see another mechanical engineer.

The date you are referring to is the date I filed my nomination application to AINP. I sent my application to Nova Scotia in October and was recieved there on the 18th of October.

Hi mcsvizag,

Since Lahorimunda's credit card has been charged, you bank draft should also have processed because your application was received at CIO on Oct 15 itself. Better, you contact your bank people...

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Thanks you mcsvizag and gurdev1.

Yes Sarayu I also think that it is fast because looking at the timelines of the people who applied before me they were taking more than a month to encash the payments. I did not expect that they would process within a month. I checked my CC statement online as a regular routine and found out that my CC was charged. Anyways its a good sign for all of us.

Yes mcsvizag your bank draft should be processed since your application for recieved before mine. I hope that we get our AOR soon. Fingers crossed.

Hi everyone,

BC PNP, strategic occupations stream (entry-level/semi-skilled); spouse is PA, I am dependent.

Mailed federal application to Sydney on October 16, received there (per Canada Post) October 19.

No response yet, but like everyone else am checking my credit card statement every day or two. Reading this thread, I'm hoping to see that "magic charge" pretty soon! (Anyone else think it's a little twisted that we should be so eager to give our money away? ;) )

Best,
Sarah

Hi,
What should come first: email with AOR or status change in ECAS system?

thank you

Hi Guys, I just checked the CIC webpage for processing times and they finally posted the processing time for provincial nominees at CPP office and it is 11 months! hopefully they dont increase it as the time goes by (as they have done lately with other applications such as work permits, study permits, etc)

Has anyone from October received AOR yet?

I got my AINP in Sept, 2012. My application to CIO arrived Sydney on Oct. 12th. So far, no response yet.

Is there any Oct applicant that got AOR this week?

Status update: application received on Oct 11, charged on Nov 20.
Does it mean that the application has all the required documents? Or we can't make any conclusions yet?

Hi lilotia,

You said, your credit card has been charged. It indicates that, the application is complete for further processing. I believe you should get your AOR and MR in max 10 days.

Thanks,
Sarayu.
