Tracking PNP October 2012 applications to Nova Scotia

I sent off my application yesterday and acording to my Tracking number they should get it on October 9, 2012.

I am in, mailed off to CIO Wed Oct 3 it should be there Oct 9. Let's see if we will get MR in 2 months from now.

I am following this thread for my relative's case.

My file reached there on oct 4 so I am in a same boat with you. All the best to all. My application first time reached there on 1st aug but because of some problem in one of form i got it back and again i sent it on 30 sept and they got it on 4 oct.

Hi friends,
In form 5620 where we give our credit card details in which we have to write our cvv number for our cc but unfortunately in my cvv number I have 0 as a first digit like "012" and it has not accepted 0 because it was first digit so when tried to charge my fees it didn't work so they send my file back.
So, I advise you all double check it and if 0 doesn't come in print than write it with pen after taking print.

I was wondering if anyone here knows the processing time for Ottawa VO? I'm unable to find it anywhere. I've sent my application to CIO Nova Scotia, selecting Ottawa as the VO. Does anyone know the average processing time to get the AOR, MR, etc..?

Hi all,

My application is received in Sydney Nova Scotia CIO on Oct 9 2012 (based on canada post tracking).

No responses yet from CIO, checking mail, email, junk mail daily (i know anxiousness or paranoia doesn't help, but it's off of my hands now, so...). Glad i found this forum with people in the same boat.

Waiting for AOR as well.
CC not charged yet for the fee.

A few variables on my case:
- passport (and Canadian permits) expires in less than 1 year. If the processing time for PNP is as estimated (16 months) then I will have to change passports in between.
- Immigration office requested to process application in IMM0008ENU_2D is Buffalo NY USA. This was filled based on the instruction from my BC PNP office. On www buffalo gc ca there is a notice that the Canadian immigration office there has moved. Hopefully this don't cause delays (or even worse, return).

I was wondering if they start looking at our applications as late as early or mid december would that be in the midst of the holiday season? Is that another excuse for delays and how much delay?

You got that right hardworkingpk... if things dont move faster with the applications submitted in August and September, then i'm guessing we'd hear only in January 2013. Good way to start the new year!
