Thanks a lot for all your wishes. It was really wonderful moment yesterday...got relaxed now.

I think few of you know that my wife is pregnant now and she is due on Nov 01, 2013. So, I have informed of the situation to my representative. They have requested CPP-Ottawa to extend my PPR from 60 days to further some more time so that the baby will get delivered and have to add the new born to my application....have to get birth certificate, passport and then take medicals for the new born. It's a bit lengthy process involved in my case now...but wish and God's grace everything should be fine at the end.

I should be able to finish everything by Feb 2014 as my H1B status will get expired by March 04, 2014. So, guys any ideas where I can save time (utilize my time very very effectively) please let me know.

Once again thanks a lot for all your good wishes. Good luck to all my buddies who is waiting for the updates.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hey Sarayu,

Congratulation ! on your PPR and the baby :)

Your situation is really special. I'm not sure how this work, but this is only my opinion

I'm thinking why don't you ask CPP-O to speed up stamping your visa after you send it. Maybe just explain your situation to CIC help center on the phone, and ask them if it's possible to speed up your stamping process in your case. That would save you a lots of time, and also if your baby is born in Canada, your baby will have Canadian citizenship right away. This is just what I'm thinking, you should discuss with your representative and CIC help centre.

Anyway, congratulation my friend :) really happy for you.

I got a question...
In our "Ready for Visa Letter" email, which requests that our passport plus photo IDs to be sent to them, they are also requesting us to complete a biodata form:

We require confirmation of this information for yourself and each accompanying family member. Please complete the attached form “Biodata” and return it to us.
Do we just print the form, fill it out, and submit it along with our passports or do we scan it and email it to them?

Thanks Bangalore! Is that what you did?

No I am still waiting for my passport request but my room mates had sent this when they had received the ppr.

I had to appear in person with my passport and the form for the stamping of my PR Visa at the visa office that processed my application.

In your own case since you courier your passport, you should just fill it for every member of your family and include with the package that contain the passport documents.

Ensure you fill it correctly as the information contained in it is what is used to prepared the visa and COPR document.

I absolutely agree with you Tam_ngo.

Sarayu should explore this option so as to put behind him all the wait that will come with filing for the new born baby.
