EssP: Kavy and I got our medical updates from India -CPPO in about 3 months. Later on our files went in process and were transferred to Ottawa on same day (22nd May). I am pretty sure he would have got his PPR today as well.

Hello Guys,
I have received an update from CIO today saying your " Your file is currently with our office awaiting Medical results. Your Medicals are currently in the New Delhi Medical office and the status is showing “in progress”.
When all required information is received your file will be forwarded to our office in Ottawa for processing".
I seriously do not understand what is going on with my case, Once again I am In Canada applicant for faster processing I had chosen New Delhi Visa Office and gave my Indian mailing address on my application.
Questions I have:
1. Why CIO is keeping my file? which would have been transferred when they send me an AOR.
2. Why would they send it to Ottawa?
3. Should I change my Mailing address online?
I had also applied for GCMS notes under the Privacy Act on 10th may and I have not received anything yet.
Can anyone help on this matter Please

good news in the mailbox..!!!!! just woke up after sleeping the whole day ;D and there it is PPR, i am thankful to the almighty. will mail the passport to cpp on monday as canada post is closed in the weekend..! wish all of you get your PPR soon..

hey folks can anyone clear my doubt.? is canada post open on saturdays. i was checking on the internet, canada post is closed on weekends but other businesses which operates canada post inside their building like shoppers, and other drug stores are open, so will they mail it on the same day that is saturday or wait till monday to mail..? thank you
