Tracking PNP November 2012 applications to CIO Nova Scotia

What I initially assume is that when our files arrive at CIO, they do initial processing and give out AORs. And then our files get transferred to the visa office indicated on our application(as it for me it was CPP-O).

Now, it seems like all files stay at CIO until they are ready. Some people say CIO gives out MR and some people say CPP-O gives out MR. I don't know anymore! When I received MR, it asked me to contact CIO if there was no attachment so I assume CIO was giving out MRs? Where should the medical results go then? CIO or CPP-O? What about RPRF?

Someone also was talking about pre-screening at CPP-O after your files get transferred. People review your files and get them ready for a VO then VO decides if your application needs more supporting documents and if it does, well sucks for you cause when you mail then additional documents in, your files get pre-screened again and then get to your VO.

would u please tell me what i should do coz. i applied after nomination from MPNP F.STREAM and got my EP******** and UCI*********** and CAS status is showing application received on Juen 18, 2012. when CIO issued me that numbers and they mentioned their mail that your file will be forwarded to VO according to ur application. In my application i mentioned my VO that is LVO. From 18th June 2012 to till now i dont know my VISA OFFICE and TWICE TWICE i sent CSE to LVO , CIO but no reply form any one even i dont know my VISA OFFICE. In send CSE. LVO responsed me that your file is in ADVO now TWICE I sent CSE and email to ADVO after w8ing 38 days still no reply form ADVO. I am from pakistan and working in saudi arbai. please do advise me what i should do. coz under MPNP LVO time for pakistani 6 months . really much worry , hope ur response soon. regards.

Good to know about your update...next should be mine...my medicals were received at CIO on Feb 12th (8 days later than yours). So, approximately in a weeks time I should see my ECAS update if it's in order...I am also from CPP-O, just like your's....let's see what bring me next week.

still i dont know my VO whereas according to CAS it shows application received on June, 2012. 8 months have been passed but still dont know which is VO .

@ KAvy.Sandhu .. I added all needed fingerprints and criminal record certs to my initial application to CIO to avoid delays ... They have not requested any additional documents from me except for the RPRF .....

Well i can understand your concern.......its really been a long time for you and i know it must had been hard. Anyways if you dont know anything about your case and you are worried that you can always apply for GCMS notes which will let you know about what and when anything has happened in your case and what is your applications current status. Heres how you can do that:-

there are two ways.

a) If you have a friend / relative in canada it would cost you just $5 and you will get that in around 30 days.

b) If you don't have a relative or friend in Canada then you can get it from websites and it would cost around $25-$40 and you will get in six to eight weeks..[/b][/u]

a) If you have a relative / friend in Canada

As you have a relative / friend there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. Your relative / friend will order this on your behalf and he will be the requester. It can be done by email and your relative / requester can send scan copies of everything. Your relative / friend will receive CAIPS / GCMS notes in his email.

First fill the following form but your relative / friend will sign it as he is the requester.

Then you will have to fill this consent form and sign yourself

Now according to latest IMM5563E form you can even pay fees online if you are not living in Canada and there is no need to fill any credit card form. Pay fees online, get receipt, fill it and then scan and attach with application. Its very easy. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

After payment take 2 copies of print out of receipt. Keep one copy for yourself and attach other with application.

Ask your relative to provide copy of his Canadian passport or PR card and copy of his recent bill or bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada

Ask him to scan everything and send everything by email to

b) If you don't have a relative / friend in Canada

Does any one know how to contact cio by email or phone?

I have submitted my PNP application last week without police certification because my country's serious condition during at the time.( I wrote a explanation letter with the application already). Today I got my police certificate finally, and want to submit the police certification to cio. Since I havn't got any FN# /UCI, I need to ask CIO about how can I submit the only police certification.

Please anybody can help, I very appreciate your help!!

My medical reports were also received by CIO on 12 feb....lets hope for update nxt wk.
