Tracking PNP November 2012 applications to CIO Nova Scotia

Hey Guys,

I had my medical examination today. It all went good and pretty smooth. There are something which you should take care of:

Medical Examination has four parts:
a) Doctor checkup which includes blood pressure and routing checkup
b) Urine test
c) blood test
d) X- ray

Usually for the first three things in all takes 1 hour, but adding the wait time, it can go till 2 hours.
The x-ray itself is just 2 mins but including wait can go upto 20 to 30 mins

@ Jagga................well it wont affect your PR application process unless there is something serious or major for which immigration department might ask you to go for further and detailed medical examination. Definitely it will increase the time for the medical examination processing by 1 or 2 weeks but not more than that.

Thank You for your reply but what If I do not have a family name, How can I correct my passport? I am from india we have first name, last name and surname so as I do not use my surname which is not even on my birth certificate too and I guess surname is the FAMILY NAME. On my passport its is ONLY GIVEN NAME and as I do not have a FAMILY NAME its blank. Can you please let me know how to correct my passport?

Yes surname in other words is family name what we use in India. Me too from India only. I think it really gonna take so much time to correct everything now. Because it's very lengthy process in India. If your birth certificate, passport and all your educational documents show in the same way, you don't need to worry I believe...so, just let it be as it is now.

All Nov Guys,

Please keep an eye on your email/credit card statements during the weekend as well. Many of July and Oct applicants have got their AORs/MRs etc during the weekend...don't ask me how it's possible. And please share on the forum if you have any updates.

Hey Sarayu,

Well i am not sure, where they medical reports will be sent. But as per my understanding, the medical results for all the categories are sent to CIC in CPP-Ottawa or CIO in Nova Scotia.

Regarding jagga's application, my friend had a bit of delay in her application as well because of some complications in medical.

If you have paid the processing fees with a bank draft, it's going to take some time. If it's by Credit Card, it should have already been charged by this time. Because Nov last week applicants Credit Cards have already been charged.
