huh,

I assume I am PNP also, I have a Certificat de Selection du Quebec, and apllied to Federal using that. I also received the initial AOR e-mail from Ottawa saying 10 months, I assume what happened in the meanwhile is they received order to slow things down, just like the rest of the immigration process. It'll probably take a little more than 3-6 months like everybody expects and hopes for, but I'm pretty sure it'll be faster than 16 months... I will also write the 120 days e-mail in about 30 days (received AOR July 27)

good luck all and pls keep us updated on ur status

Hi To all!! 8)

This is really frustrating for all of us here. I tried calling the call center and they told me that if your VO is CPP Ottawa, they cannot tell you the exact processing time because it just opened recently. The 16 months is I think the general processing times. They wont tell you the exact processing time to avoid false hope. i guess ??? So we really need to hang in there for 16 months..coz what sucks is we really cant do anythin' about it. Godspeed everyone!

Brebu- .yes it is PNP. hopefully it will be processed soon .

i will also email them after 120 days and see what they say.

i was wonder if someone have already email them after their 120 days ?

Any update people ?

no... :( its beend 2.5 months now .. and my medical status still not updated

Dont worry about Medical status man i did mine back in july ..mine still say application received in may . but that doesn't really matter! Look forward to PPR

did you ask immigration why they haven't updated your medicals? .. over the email it seems like they reply this general email to every one that your file is in process and will take 16 months ...

well i sent them one email long time ago ..but they never replied to me. i seen many cases where no status update and they received ppr .i also seen cases where they got there PP back but ecas still shows in process. so don't worry. Ecas Status doesn't mean much i believe.
