@ Sohail.ali : I have similar case as you. I am assuming that your wife did her medicals in Pakistan. Did the doctor send it to Ottawa directly or your local Regional Medical Center??

I got my MR from CIO Sydney and in the medical forms visa office was also written as CIO. However, it was mentioned in the email to have all future correspondence with CPP-O. What was your visa office in the medical forms?

I guess it does. depending where your spouse is. Like in my case my wife is not in Canada so her file information will be verified by her Local Canadian embassy where as mine will be proceed in Canada. According to CIC email they clearly mentioned that normally it takes 10 month to process but if dependents are not INLAND then it will add additional time to communicated with their Canadian embassy to verify information provided. :-X

My wife is with me when I came here to Canada through work permit. Then we applied for BC PNP.

Yes, I applied under Ontario Masters/PhD graduate stream. My ecas updated to "Medical results have been received" today.

It has been 2,5 months.

Our timeline is kinda close. Are you PNP applicant as well? My ecas is stucked to "medical results have been received" and i do not know how long i have to wait more for passport request. Goodluck to us! May we discover more patience and perseverance with this epic of waiting. ;D

Yes we are on the same boat. In our ecas there are three types of processing there stated to fully understand the process. Application inside, outside and the FSW submitted to CIO. Which type are we? Application inside canada? or outside since suppossedly my VO is Buffalo and that is outside Canada and Yes I Submitted my files to Nova Scotia under Skilled worker PNP. So I am confused. Thanks! And Keep the Faith. Hope October is a good month to Us May applicants. ;D

If you applied within Canada you are in Canada applicant....if you applied living in your home country your application is outside.....I guess our application is PNP submitted to CIO, Sydney.......Thats my understanding

Thanks Supertramp. So that means our status is Already on Decision made since we already on "medical results received". I really wish to have PPR this Oct. coz I really need to go home on December. If not I will take the risk and go out of Canada by that time. Do you think it is Ok if I am outside Canada and The PPR is up? Since I have a representative on my application so she could send her on my behalf and she's just gonna send it back to me. That will be the case scenario if I dont get any news on my status at the end of the year. (sigh)

I know someone from other forum too with just a month ahead of us and she sent a 120 letter to ottawa and ottawa replied that the Processing time now is 15 months. So it is really unpredictable when to get it and I really need to go out of the country. :'(

I dont even care what ECAS says...its so random...I dont see any problem if you are going out.....anyway your PPR is going to come to your representative......
