Tracking PNP July 2012 applications to Nova Scotia

Hi, One of the Sep applicant just got ppr. the timeline is as follows,
application sent :4-Sep-2012
fn:30-Oct-2012
me:31-Oct-2012
mer:11-Dec-2012
ppr:feb.22

a friend of mine who sent his file on nov didn't get any reply until the begining of Feb, he made an inguiry and recently got answer that his package is totally lost in CIO. He sent package thru fedx too

Hello....oh my God...so theres really lapses in CIO...what did CIO advise her to do after proven it got lost?thank you.

after 2 weeks he made an inquiry about his application status, he got answer that CIO needs his package tracking number, recieve date and reciever's name, and given all the information 2 weeks later again, CIO said they haven't recieved his package.

Next step for him was just to be frustrated and nothing to be adiviced.

When did you mail your passport?

I did not receive a receipt from email and I sent an extra paper copy with my copied passport pages, biometric data and 2 photographs that were required as per email

I havent received mine back yet; ECAS Status still says In Progress

wish they would hurry up I have applied for an internal promotion and it would take me out my WP terms so cannot start the new role till I get CoPR stamped.

Hi All!

I am following this forum and this thread for quite awhile. I am a june applicant for PR. And a week ago I got my PPR. Which is great and I am very happy. But there is one problem. I have a job that requires me to travel a lot. and now I am visiting USA for 2- 3 month. So my deadline for sending the passport will be gone when I will be back to Canada. So I decided that it will be okay to just send my passport to CPP-O from USA but in the email they sent to me with all the instruction written this: "We will not use registered mail or postage coupons. If you do not submit a return prepaid Xpresspost envelope or if you provide an envelope from any other courier, we will return your passport by regular mail." As I understand this if I can provide them with xpresspost envelope they will send my passport back to me by regular mail. That is totally bad idea. So to avoid this I send a message to CPP-O explaining my problem and asking them for the possibility to submit it to somewhere else like New-York. And I would even drive to New as it will be a nice entertainment while I am in US.

My main question did anyone here sent their passport to CPP-O from USA? and how did all went? Also how long it takes Ottawa to process our passports and put in the VISA.

I appreciate any possible help! Thanks in advance.
