even i didn't ask status of my application, he is son in law of my boss and just came to shop and told me that. so i don't really put huge mean into that.

Got the 2nd GCMS notes and to my disappointment nothing has been done by CPP-O on my file for the last 2-3 months. Security check still not started. Looks like a long way to go from here.

Security check is not a must. In fact only a minor group of applicants will have to go through this. The majority don't.

ur file is pending for final decision as well as mine.

Your timeline is similar like me. Also security not started.

I know some people even in August, Septemper when they are in status "in Process". The GCMS note only security not started.

Don't know who&when will check it.

All of our files were transferred to cpp for final review. As far as i know non of us got gcms where it says that our file has been assinged to an officer and no due date. So i believe all of our files are lined up to be assignes to the officers.

Because in my gcms notes it says all documents are complete and information is consistent with documents provided etc etc. So we have to wait till cpp ottawa clears up the pending files they have like transferred files from buffalo or seattle.

Secondly under my security in gcms it says due date for security is august 2013. That means a long way to go.

Last actitivity on my file was oct2012.

I just got my work permit extension from bcpnp. Im applying for my extension even though it expires in may because it takes 90business days for work permits now.

the reason why i believe soon becuz as we can see our secondery office is ottawa, we gonna get pr visa from ottawa not detroit or other consulate in us according to operation bulletin ottawa should have begun to issue pr visa on 27 nov 2012, but for some reasons they just line up apps and not issue pr visa. So the date we get ppr is when ottawa starts to issue pr visa.
