hey bkkk, lets wait the respone. I'm expecting it to be the generic response. But lets see. Well now i can see a proper pattern in in-land applications. 4-5 weeks for AOR/MR, 4-5 weeks update on ecas, 1 week to go in process and then......nobody knows....

Lucas, the security & background check is something which does take time. Heres the thing if we rent out our apartment we do reference checks for the person who would be living in, this is a country man. They deserve to take their time to decide whether they let us in their country or not. I don't really have a problem with it, they can take their time, but off course working on sepecific timelines should be a priority.

Fingers crossed guys, patience is a virtue.

Well, it only takes one if us to get PPR to give indication that July applicants are at the front of the line. Fingers crossed, and good luck all.

Well, the email was short and sent from Ottawa which is also my VO. They gave me an attention # to indicate where the doc goes to. they only need a scan verison, therefore, I was able to send them the requested doc right away by email. also they said " As you application is otherwise complete "

This is why I beleive I could get ppr anytime soon.

Standard processing time for PNP applications is 11 months from the date of application submission.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/service-standards.asp#prcard.

That means for July applicants the PPR request might not come before June next year.

These may be aligned with all applicants including those from outside Canada (I can't tell from that webpage). In-canada applicants (my case), seem to have much shorter processing times based on various forums. There are June applicants receiving PPR right now, so it may be no more than a few weeks before a few of us start getting PPR.

That is for applications sent today it was only 6 months no more than 10 months back in July from what I recall.

The processing time mentioned in the MR is 10 months anyways for PNP applicants, so now if they say 11months doesn't really make a difference.

Anyways, question. 10 months from the date we submit our files or 10months after they start processing our files?\

It says receipt of application, so possibly could be from AOR.

I renewed my temporary work permit this fall using my nomination letter. As long as you explain that your PR is in process they will be okay. But let's hope that soon you don't need to even consider that.

Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied have a processing standard of 10 months. If you have not received any instructions from this office by 120 days from the date of this letter, you are requested to contact this office directly.
