Hello Everyone

Today is the 6th week after my application was received at Sydney. I called CIC, waited on the phone for 10 minutes, and then the lady told me they don't have access to PNP applications because they are processed outside Canada, so I emailed CIO Sydney to inquire about the application. They said in the automated reply that it takes them up to 20 working days to reply!

Oh Sarayu its been long since your application was sent. Isn't it raising a red flag to you? Have you tried contacting them?

I only got my AOR yesterday and I was a day ahead of sarayu ... so its probably going to arrive this week. Also I think they have maybe slowed a little for initial processing since July when you look at timelines ...

I sent cashier's check to CIO and more over the payment is in USD...I believe it's getting delayed because of this reason...July 11th applicants just got their AOR and/or MR...let's see where mine is laying...I do have a represntative and I can't contact CIO directly.

i m observed its little delay approx 2 months after July applications.

Wow... Really missed a lot of posts. Congratulations to all who recieve AOR AND/or Medicals. My friend applied and his documents was Recieved on the 9th of July. His cc was charged on the 28th of Aug and AOR on 31st of aug. A day before yesterday his current Canadian address appeared on Ecas and has been there since. Did anyone experience this before medicals was sent out or not? A forum memeber (believing) had similar experience and in a week he got medicals and subsequently ppr. Kindly comment and check if your address appeared and disappeared or is currently showing on ecas for those in Canada and abroad. Godspeed to all.

I m citizen of India but working in different country. So which vo office will b applicable... In fact I don't my file to be transferred here in this country as here things r happening at slow speed. Is that we can ask them to change vo , in case they allot?

I have been viewing the posts in this forum for some time now. And I really enjoy the talk here. My time line is exactly yours, except that I paid with cc.
*Document received at CIO July 12
*CC charged September 10
*AOR September 11
*Waiting for MR now
*VO is CPP-O

I am pretty sure yours will follow Wednesday or Thursday because of your US Cheque processing.

So the address appeared just before you got your medical request right? People say it appears when they want to send out MR and when a vo is working on the file.

Hi Jaggu,

I believe we can't request CIO to send our application to the VO which we request. CIO sends the application to appropriate VO office located in that particular country.

Good to know that your application has also been received by CIO on the same day of mine. I guess you paid fees with your credit card right? Can you share a little more your information?...like your exact stream etc...

By the way, I have added your time line to the spread sheet we are managing here.
