hi cndpnp! i submitted it on the same date it was requested, july 2 but was received by CEM on julu 3.. how about you, did your ECAS already changed to decision made? my address in ecas is still the same..

ours were received by CEM on jul9.. no changes in ECAS yet, still in process (med results have been received).

maybe you'll receive your passports this week

I have seen that in few cases where they send acknowledgement about receiving passport but I don't think this is in every case and then every officer is different. i sent mine on 8 and there is no change in ecas and no notification. I think we should give them 2 to 3 weeks before starting worry again. Hope everything goes smooth. Good luck everyone.

Don't worry guys, Sometimes they don't update Ecas or did it after long time. My uncle had a sam case, his ecas was in process until he completed landing and then they updated both together decision made and landing complete.

Passport received at CPPO on July 8th and the return Canada Post tracker got activated today July 16th.

Don't worry guys, Sometimes they don't update Ecas or did it after long time. My uncle had a sam case, his ecas was in process until he completed landing and then they updated both together decision made and landing complete.

They received my Pcc yesterday.how long do you think it will take to come to a decision.

My wife gave birth to our first child a couple of weeks back.he is a canadain citizen.do i have to info cic and if so how do I do that.is there any paperwork I can fill out.

And lastly as I am from the uk.will I still need to send in my passport.

First of all congratulations for your babay. Now as soon as they will get your pcc in their hands they are gonna start the rest of process and I have seen minimum of month and maximum of 2 months but hope for best and speedy process. You have to update cic about your kid but as he or she is canadian already by birth so not be an issue at all. I am not sure about paperwork or anything that you need to submit, any suggestion guys ?

No there is no difference by applying yourself or hiring anyone as long as you do proper paperwork and everything. Make sure about everything before sending it out otherwise they will return it all instead of asking for missing stuff.
