Tracking PNP Feb 2013 applications to CIO Nova Scotia

What kind of updated documents did they ask for? Is it updated personal history? Thx

-The birth certificate, passport page scan of my son (Hard copies, since I have sent them the PDFs on Wednesday night, they replied me yesterday afternoon said they received them and told me go ahead to send them the passports and photos (which I did before they replied), a bit surprise, less than 24 hours, I got response from CPP-O).

-The updated IMM 5406 (Family information) for both my wife and me with our son on the forms.

CPP-O didn't ask for these, I sent them just in case.

Another surprise is that I mailed them out yesterday morning and it will be delivered today.

Certificate of Permanent Residence landed in the post today, delighted and relieved in equal measure. Gonna land on Tuesday all going well

Yes, I agree. some are complicated some are not. I just received an email requesting for additional documents. I have submitted a complete documents in my initial submission of application, based on what is required in the list but now they are asking additional information/documents such as baptismal certificate though I submitted already a birth certificate and elementary and/or secondary report cards though i have submitted already a secondary certificate of graduation and college diploma & TRanscript of records during my PNP application.

I did not expect this, and it is difficult to schedule to go back to my home country just to get the documents. But now i need to go back again for the 5th time. I went home 4 times already this year ( including during medical) it is too expensive going back and forth. Anyways, I have no choice but to comply with the request.

I also received an e-mail asking the same additional documents/information. I'm just wandering what's the relevance of these documents to our applications. though we have already submitted the complete requirements per cic list ( birth, marriage cert., etc. ) but as you said we have no choice but to comply, it's good for me i'm here in my home country. I am from a visa-exempt country and so did not have to send my passport in. I directly received my copr in the mail.

CORP: expecting it in the mail soon!!!
