does any one know if CIO return application, how they inform. Do they send any email or just return whole application to postal address. its been 50 days CIO rcvd my application, but till today they havnt withdrawned my bank draft.

No email, they return the package. Don't loose hope..I have seen people getting AOR in over 2 months time too..

Hi All!
I ve got a very vital question to ask.

My wife just gave birth to a baby girl on the 3rd of July 2013. When are we suppose to notify our VO of this new development as we intend to have her accompany us to canada? We only ve her birth certificate. Her passport will be ready in 2 to 3 weeks.

Question1 :Should we wait till the passport is ready so we could notify them and submit her copy of passport and the birth certificate together as proof or just notify the VO and submit a copy of her Birth certificate alone and later submit that of her passport in 2 to 3 weeks?

Please advise. We are really in need of your contribution so we can take informed decisions.

I suggest you inform your VO right away, tell them your daughter's name and birthday (other details similar to dependent's section of the generic application form).
Then let them now that you applied for your daughter's passport too.

Just use the last email correspondence of your VO to you. THis will prevent further issues in the future in case you'll get an update on your application before you get your daughter's passport.

From my observation, apart from Inland applicants and CEM applicants, it seems other VO ar fast asleep and even snoring.
Anyway, patience is the keyword. 8)

My case will be different because my baby boy will be born in Canada and he will get his Canadian Passport pretty soon within two months after his birth (a lot more sooner than mine :-X).

I will suggest you do as quoted below.
