My friend, I cant believe I came this close PR, took me 3 years to pile up some courage and apply. Hopefully, we all get over with this paperwork by September.

People who got recently updated their status to "in process", can you pls let me know if you have any depedent in your application outside canada?

If yes, please specify the country. My spouse is back home, in Pakistan, just wondering does that make difference to get status changed from MR received to in process.

Hi Arif.

My wife is in India, I applied for her as a dependent. It did not make any difference in timing for process. To be very honest, I think they just have bunch of files here and there in the office and get to all of them one by one, just wait for the right day and it will come. Do not loose heart, you never know you might get In Process and PPR all withing a week, and I will be the one waiting till December for PPR

Just pray, and all will be good.

Today June 27 is exactly a year after I submitted my MPNP online application
Also today I sent an email inquiry to CEM asking for a status update on my application since I have business travel plans this July
And Also today I received this response "Please note your visa was sent out this morning via courier. You may receive it within a few days."

Please do let us know the date that you got you passport back!

Which means you are the very first one of our feb crews to win this game!

I am a march applicant ! so following feb forum to forecast status on my application...

So this what I found w.r.t CPP Ottawa;

date of AOR + 90 days = In process (max 120 days)
in process + 45 days = RPRF / PR request together ( if you are lucky) otherwise just RPRF
RPRF + 30 days = Passport request
PR request + 20-30 days = Happy Ending !!

The trends have recently changed and I must say its a fair analysis. I have seen a huge 'RANGE' when it comes down to number of days after each step. Specially once you are 'In process' I believe it all drives down to your background ( Security, Criminality) other documentation checks - Hope we all get lucky enough to sail through it. My Bank teller said not cash out yet!
