Congratulations :)

I think you should inform them once you receive the AOR. By that time, they can easily refer to your application since you will be given UCI#.

Take care and God bless.
Thx alot Tweety
really appreciated
so i will wait till i get my AOR ..
thx again and good luck

Hi mrmrlouis,

First of all Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Coming to your question, you can't contact CIO before you receive your AOR. Further, CIO can't do anything with your situation. There are four categories in total in the Medical Examination as I listed below.

1) Doctor checkup which includes blood pressure and routing checkup
2) Urine test
3) blood test
4) X- ray

Of these four, you can finish the first three tests right after you receive your Medical Request from CIO. But the doctor will say "NO" to the last test (X-ray test), because it mught affect the baby inside. But nothing to worry, you can inform CIO/Visa Office at that point of time about your pregnancy. And you will have to finish your X-ray test right away after the baby delivery then submit the same to CIO. Then they will start further processing on your application.

Please let me know if you still have any questions.

Good luck to all December guys.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

hi my friends
i noticed that both Tweety and Andrew has paid already the rprf fees
shall we all do the same or it depends on what ?

as i read this part in the Guide :

Right of Permanent Residence Fee
•$490 per person for you (the principal applicant) and your spouse or common-law partner (if applicable). Dependent children are exempt.
•You will need to pay this fee before your application for permanent residence can be finalized. We will send you a request to pay this fee when we are ready to issue the permanent resident visa.

so what shall we do ??? ???
sorry for asking alot of Questions ,but i just want to understand ;D

Don't get pressured because Andrew and I paid the RPRF even without the notice. Like what Andrew told us, we can pay it online anytime by going to CIC's website, Pay your fees. Here's the link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index-can.asp.

I am not encouraging you to do what I did, but it is your choice if you want to pay it now. It is clear in CIC's instruction to pay it once asked by our Visa Office.

congratulations chiefmissile!!

i'll try to contact my bank this week and ask for an update if the bank draft has been cashed.. i'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Hi mrmrlouis,

As per my knowledge...once you submit your medical examination results without the X-ray results, VO will start your application processing. There are many other things that they should evaluate on your file like your background check, criminals etc etc...So, once the baby is delivered, you have to inform your respective VO and then submit your X-ray results. I am sorry, but I don't know the complete procedure about it. But as far as I know there is a simple application form for any changes in the family like new baby arrivals etc. I have done the same when we got a baby boy back in 2010. Please search for that form on CIO website and let me know if you could not find it, I will help you.

Thanks,
Sarayu.
