Tracking PNP April 2012 application to CIO (Nova Scotia)

Did you guys applied online or by mail ?

I am still waiting for my LOA, I submitted additional documents in last dec 2011 in which I got the temp file number. 5 months gone and my sponsors haven't received any interview call.

I applied through general stream. If they have not requested anything then no need to worries but am sure your sponsor will get a call soon. BTW hope you did not mention you have other relatives in CANADA other than Manitoba?

Not a problem. My pleasure. Try to call your bank's foreign transaction department. Tell them it is very important to know if the draft has been encased. They can tell you real ime.

My application was received on the 10th April and my VO is Pretoria, South Africa. No I dont have a tracking number. Let me know once you have your AOR from CIO.

do CIC advised us if the file reach their office? i got a message from the courier that it was delivered on may 1, till now no response from CIC :

No. They won't advise you if they have received your application. Now, they will check your package fir completeness and charge your cc (credit card) or encash your bd (bank draft). Usually takes 3 to 4 weeks. This is an indirect way of knowing that your application is now ready to process. You will get your official acknowledgement of receipt (AOR) after about 6 weeks your application was delivered at CIC,
