If you mean the date printed by the studio staying when the photo was taken, you could have problems.

Yeah, nothing is printed on my photos. I read on the photo specifications that, they might ask me for new photos. I just hope that they do not send my application back.

According to the updated online calculator, I ended up being eligible to apply under the new rules way before I thought.
It showed that I am eligible at the end of this month

With the old rules, I was always few weeks short.
Now is much better because I can calculate my days from the last 6 years 8)

Oh alright. Congratulations, that means that you can start getting all your documents together. Just checked the citizenship calculator for the newš rule, it says that am eligible to apply by 2017..

Yes It seems the new calculator is adding an extra day for each trip outside Canada, I gained 5 extra physical days in Canada when using the new calculator compared to the older version. if you leave for 5 days it is calculating 4 days I guess taking into consideration the travel day as if you were in Canada.

Yes, now the day you left and the day of return are counted as full complete days of physical presence 8)

I just checked out the new application, they added a couple of sections in regards to the proof of income Tax and authorization to pull records from CRA, and the intention to live in Canada

I just added two new columns to the timeline sheet that I thought would be useful: the forms used so we can easily tell which June applicants are using the old vs new forms, and the number of days physical presence applied with, to see to what extent borderline cases are going non-routine.

Sorry to hear that. It also happened to me with Purolator. I have sent my application on May 31, and I was expecting to reach there on June 1. Then they have told me that due to routing issue they will deliver it on Wednesday. Indeed, the have delivered it on Wednesday. It took then complete 3 days to deliver my mail to CIC.
If you search on google (I did) about their routing issue and mechanical issue you will find a bunch of lame excuses from Purolator. And it happens to Purolator. Personally, I lost my trust on them.

I sent my application from Vancouver by Purolator on noon of June 8. Purolator guaranteed that my application will delivered at Sydney CIC before 5pm on June 10. But I track online and see my application still at Moncton NB on 15:16 local time June 10 to transit to Sydney CIC. I contact Purolator and spoke to the manager, he said that unfortunately their plane having mechanical delay at Vancouver airport on June 8 19:28 local time. He said my application will definately delivered to Sydney CIC on June 11 morning. Is it purolator always provide this kind of poor services and just apologies about the delay and doing nothing?

After AOR. Which, for us, could take forever. No applicant from May has received it yet, and some from April are still waiting.

It depends of the officer who check your documents, I wish you good luck.

No idea right now, It will take about 2-3 months with the speed of things right now.

5) Done. You can apply for passport
