I think there's a good chance they are not working with physical mail during lockdown.

Yes, apparently it will be updated, or so I am led to believe

For the first PR card you don't need to submit an application.

Yes I know, but from other members I have heard this can take up to several months nowadays..

it looks like they don't want people to travel. That is why huge delays in PR card and PRTD applications. Govt is playing with immigrants now.

That's interesting. You got a ghost update means they have the photo... have you tried calling or emailing them? @Sadia95

I called them , they said no update on the file!

Finally got my PR card this week. Pics were sent back in June 2020 originally. I got an update in Jan to say I needed to send new ones as the originals were not sufficient. I was able to scan and email the pictures. PR card was issued February 2, 2021 and received in the mail February 10, 2021
