Hello,
My wife received 1GU on October 28th and today she receive another update. When we went to her cic account, she received a letter just to confirm that they received her application. My PR card has been approved and I never received that.

Hello, just a quick question. When you send your photos for PR does it have to be registered mail or is regular mail fine? Im being asked only to send it to the local immigration office in the city.

I'm glad the wait is over... Hoping to receive my card by next week

ok so basically you posted to POBox 4500 using USPS in USA, they gave you a tracking # that worked either on USPS side or canada post ?

Hahahahah.....This is something new!
Date landed:27Jun2020
GU:27Oct2020
Received Email :29Oct2020 (Submission of new photographs)
Photographs mailed: 30Oct2020.
By the time i reach home after mailing, get an email that the account has been updated and after logging in find that the application has been approved & card has been dispatched.
Ironically the email for requesting photo is dated same as the Final Decision. but since the account got updated today, i could only know after that.
Being proactive on my side has resulted me in wasting $40.

Hi,
My husband and I put our photos and a copy of our COPR letter in one envelope and sent it to Vancouver office. The envelope was delivered on October 13. My first GU was on October 29, and the second one was on October 30. The second one shows my PR card has been mailed. But my husband status is still “submitted” (no GU until now ☹).
Just wondering what the problem is. May they miss his photos? We sent it together in one envelope.

BCPNP, Inland
COPR: October 5
