By saying overnight delivery as safer compared to others, I mean to say less the package in transit time, much safer it is. Also, overnight packages are separately handled and prioritized, so they have the least chances of getting lost in transit. This does not imply that all other options are unsafe. You can try any of the available options you see feasible based on the reviews. You can also check 3rd party shipping websites (eg: https://secureship.ca) which provide UPS, Fedex or DHL shipping labels at a discounted rate.
Ok, got it. I have misunderstood you.

I was thinking of making a courier shipment through secureship.ca or a similar company. I thought you meant these were unsafe, too. Even though, in fact, they also ship with UPS/FedEx. Thanks.

Probably, upto you but there is more chance of exit being recorded vs not.
Thanks. One of my friend will be traveling soon by land, so I can check with him just to confirm if his I-94 got updated before re-entering US or not. Last time it did not worked for me (2018, when I traveled on Visitor Visa).

I got my CoPR on June 10 and sent the pictures to the Winnipeg office (as instructed in the letter) one week later, the pictures arrived on June 18.
Today I decided to check the tracking number on the Canada Post website and saw that the envelope was delivered to Kitchener on July 13.

So I have:
Vancouver ---> Winnipeg (arrived on June 18)
Then on July 9 St. John's, NL ---> Kitchener, ON (arrived on July 13)

Does anybody know why the envelope didn't stop at Winnipeg and went to Kitchener? Is this something I should be worried about?
@vitspado - Did you try to ask Canada post on what's happening. I am sure you would have paid only for Vancouver >> Winnipeg to Canada post. Who is taking care of the further move from Winnipeg >> Kitchener. Also, why that would be same tracking # for Canada post in any case.

secureship.ca is fine. I have used their service multiple times. They just have a corporate discount agreement with shipping companies and will provide you with discounted shipping label. After that you have to drop your package to the respective shipping company only.

Thanks.. :)
I did not get any email, just randomly checked my profile and saw this update. My PR card is shipped to my relative's address in Canada. I have not planned as of now to get the card in US, probably will apply for PRTD.
Can your relative not mail you the PR card? Thats what I plan to do if and when my friend in Canada gets my PR card from IRCC.

Is it common to get the PR card of secondary applicant delivered and the primary not receiving? Landed on March 13, submitted change of address web form a month ago and still received one card on old address.

I have not planned yet. I will apply for PRTD probably as I do not want to risk my PR card in transit. Just a personal preference.

You 100% need to contact them about loosing it, go through process, likely sign a solemn declaration and pay for copr to be replaced. That document is worth more than you think. You need it to apply for citizenship, social and retirement benefits etc down the line.

It's worth more than your pr card sef. On citizenship ceremony day, they take back your pr card.

For others, make sure you keep your copr safe!!!
Thanks a lot for your explanation. Will contact them soon.

Landed June 13.

Got a Ghost Update today!

But I still can't search for either my UCI or Application Number in the "Address Notification" portal. I've used the webform but haven't received any response as to whether they got my new address.

Should I try faxing it? I tried the fax number on the paper change of Address form, but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know the IRCC's active fax number for Address Notification?
