Got the following reply from IRCC:

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is still in process.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

Due to the ongoing situation related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), some IRCC offices are currently operating with reduced or critical staff only.

We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible; however, processing times are affected and any disruption caused by COVID-19 is not reflected accurately on our website. We will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

It's nonsense. Only 2 persons got approval two weeks ago. No update since then. Even swimming pools are working now but PR card processing is frozen.

Hi,

login to your CIC account and add your application through this option "Add (link) your application to your account".
once you choose category: Permanent Resident card then from the drop down menu find your application using "UCI number and Family name". Use exactly the same details as in Passport. be careful of capital letters, punctuation mark and spaces.

I could not find that option by simply logging in; I logged in AND then I opened a separate window by clicking on the link that akforever99 provided:
At the account home page, there is a button called "Add (link) your application to your account"

and it magically worked! Thanks! Now finally my 1st PR card application is linked to my online account!
