It's like when you apply for PR, some people will get it sooner than you and they applied months later lol.

They must have a huge pre-lockdown backlog.

My father was able to link his and my mom's PR applications after returned COPRs were received in IRCC-Etobicoke.

I tried linking PR card and it worked even though my copr package not reached Etobicoke office yet. Application receive date is our landing date. So guess they are working on PR cards (as per system) even before our CoPR reached there.

just for the opinion, my spouse passport is expiring in three months and PR Card application is in progress. Any impact on PR card application by Applying for passport renewal?

Just wondering, has anyone received the COPR document? Or the landing letter is actually considered as the COPR document?

Seems like there is a bit of confusion going on between the COPR document and the landing letter.

The landing letter states "If you have a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) document in-hand, please send it along with one photo that meets our photo specifications to the address listed above"
