So I called today to ask about the card. The guy basically said the average is 18 days and it's too early as I only landed 16 days back. But if I don't get it in 6 weeks(!!!) I should call and they will help me re-apply. Sigh....
Where did you land?

You can call them again tomorrow morning EST and you will hear another update. Ask them to inform the concerned PR officer to expedite this.

I called them on Tuesday and that time they told me my application is still under processing and is beyond the 2 weeks period so they sent an email to the officer but said that it might take 1 month to get any reply. :(

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably pick it up on Tuesday. Seems Canada doesn't want to let me go :)

Hi, everyone.
Just to update my case.
Landed Sept 12, 2018 - Niagara Falls, ON
I wasn't able to track my PR card on my CIC account. I tried EVERYTHING and nothing worked it.
After 25 days, I called CIC - Card didn't start to be processed.
The officer emailed the PR card processing sector to check the reason for the delay
27 days after landed - I called CIC, no updates
30 days after landed - I called CIC - Card approved and it was in the production
35 days after landed - Called CIC - Card mailed
37 days after landed - Cards arrived!!!! (October 18, 2019)
FINALLY!!!!!

If you're in Canada already, how long would it take to receive PR card after you get CoPR on your passport?

So I called today, it's been 20 days since I landed. Gentleman on the phone told me that the application looks complete, but has not been processed yet. Since it's past the 18 days normal processing as of today, he left a note for the processing center (Sydney?) to work on it. And then the best part - he said they should process it in 30 days, but if I don't hear back I should contact them again on November 23(!!!!).

Talk about frustrating.......

As I recall, gave them UCI first, then got asked the verification questions - full name, date of birth and country of birth.

Hello Guys

I landed a day after you, and as per my last conversation with the IRCC (on Tuesday), your card is officially late - current processing time is 18 days. Your card might have been mailed already - but it might be worth your while to give the IRCC a call. You can then check whether there are any issues, and if it is an unexplained delay they can send a reminder to the processing department. In my case, there were significant mistakes in the address they had on hand, so it was lucky I called.

On Tuesday I was told that they sent a reminder and I should get the card in 30(!) days - and if not I should follow up again mid November.

Hi all
I did in land COPR at IRCC Etobicoke, Toronto on Sept 30th 2019.
Linked my application on Oct 9th 2019 but still not yet have any update.
I called IRCC on Monday (Oct 21st 2019) and sent a web form asking about my PR card progression. They emailed back on Wednesday (Oct 23rd 2019) saying that "an agent responded to my request and took appropriate action."
Today (October 24th 2019), I logged into my cic account, it said "application/profile updated" next to my PR card application. I clicked on it but nothing changed and the status changed back to "submitted".
Since I didn't get any email regarding to my application, is this still considered a ghost update? and am I closed to getting my card? I am so impatient right now since I got a business trip coming up on November 8th.
Thanks!

I think that's a ghost update. In my experience, the notification email in one case came at least a day after I saw an update.

Hope I see some progress too soon - I landed 2 days after you...

Hi,

Is someone in this thread has experienced below scenario:

Received email of photo request for PR card but currently outside Canada.

Is it ok to submit a photo taken outside Canada?

Hope someone can answer my query.

Thanks.
