Aug 26 - Completed landing at Etobicoke, ON
Sep 9 - Linked PR card application through CIC portal
Sep 10 - Called in CIC to verify if the address on file is correct. Enquired the representative if they can provide an estimate on when the application(s) would be approved. I was told to wait for two more weeks as there is an increase in the number of applications to process in the GTA area.
Sep 13 - Ghost update on Friday the 13th :)

Waiting for the cards to be approved/dispatched...
Update:

Received PR card through Canada post today. It was indeed helpful calling up IRCC a week after landing, to update my address and it worked out well in the end!

Some updates:
- 12/09/19 received a ghost update (Status updated), no change in the detailed status (hence the ghost).
- 13/09/19 received a reply from CIC to a request that I sent through web form 01/09/19 inquiring about my wife delay in approving the PR card, in the meantime I already received the letter requesting new photos. (new photos were received at CIC 10/09/19).
- 16/09/19 (today), status changed to Approved and Card was sent through mail.
Received my wife card Yesterday 18th.

Does the pr card delivery depend on where you live? Cause my card was approved and mailed out monday morning. Nothing yet in the mail. I'm in Lethbridge.
Yes it all depends on canadapost. I live in GTA, they mailed it from Sydney NS so if you are further away will take longer. I know it suck with no Tracking Number, but I am sure you should get it soon

Landed in Stanstead on September 2nd.
Got a ghost update on the PR card application on 12th. Nothing after that.
Called IRCC on 18th and found out that an immigration officer didn’t provide my Canadian address in the PR Card application.

Therefore, the application was put on hold.

I provided my address by the phone and was told to wait another 14 days.

I am out of country now and have flights booked back to Canada, hoping to get a card and have a friend to send me the card via DHL. Now I have to change everything.

The exact same thing happened with me as well. Landed on 26th Aug, called IRCC on 16th Sep and was told that my file has no Canadian address. Agent added the address on call and said it will take 14 days to process the cards. I wish I called earlier but didn't knew that agent didn't add Canadian address on our PR application :(.
